Valerie built her first website, Broadway Musical Home, in 1999 and it continues to flourish today. She's held digital leadership roles across associations, agencies, and private companies, before co-founding Chisel and Brand in 2012, which became her full-time focus in 2021. She shares her web expertise with clients across industries, from small businesses to national nonprofits.

Valerie is a professional actor and singer, who has performed with theatre companies across the country, from Maine to California. She has toured nationally and performed alongside Broadway and Hollywood stars. Her performance background makes her an experienced presenter and speaker off-stage, in conference rooms and boardrooms alike.

Avid non-profit supporter

From the start, Chisel and Brand LLC has been dedicated to helping small businesses and non-profits access the same marketing and web tools available to large firms. Valerie has served as Board President for two theatre companies, Brave Spirits Theatre and Theatre Pro Rata, and currently serves on the board of BRAVA (Bowie Regional Arts Vision Association) and leads grantwriting for Keegan Theatre.
