Mission
Red Letter Theater strives to develop productions of experimental new plays and re-visioned classics. With an emphasis on language, kinetic images, and the visceral, we are passionate about revealing the poetic, the human, and the outrageous. We aim to produce imaginative, intelligent, and immediate work that reflects the communities that we perform for.
Founded in 2008, Red Letter Theater aspires to become a gathering place for emerging and established artists from all disciplines – to excite the imagination and nourish a lifelong passion for live performance. Although we do not work out of our own performance space, we feel that is the way that theater should be – breaking down boundaries and bringing new life to each environment that we inhabit as storytellers.
