I've just moved to Minneapolis and am auditioning all over the place.
Jobs I've landed so far:
The Robot Musical - Plays 6/27-7/1 at the Bedlam Theatre - 1501 S. 6th St., Minneapolis
This is part of the Bedlam Theatre's 10 Minute Play festival. The writer and composer are working with us and the director promised that she'd give me "at least one moment where my talent can shine through."
Paradise Hotel - Plays 8/24-9/2 again at the Bedlam Theatre (with a different company.)
This is gonna be a crazy play, but should be a lot of fun. The show begins with a voice over the loud-speaker announcing that: "All audieneces must now be informed that the play Paradise Hotel is not, in fact the play Paradise Hotel but is in truth a much more disturbing and possibly illegal play entitled Hotel Fuck! For this we apologize ladies and gentlemen." The voice then goes on to state that not only is this disturbing play Hotel Fuck taking over the performance space, but an even more disturbing play, Hotel Beautiful Roses, is also fighting for the theatre space, the bodies of the performers, and the gaze of the audience. It's a messed up play about sex and very Foreman (read about him on his website.)
