11/18/07 - Wonderful Women
Frankenstein Incarnate: The Passions of Mary Shelley
was a wonderful production, full of some of the most talented, intelligent and supportive women I have ever worked with. I know I found some amazing mentors in this production and hope that what they say about this community being small is true - I want to work with these women again soon! My body is glad the show is done (freezing in an awkward position for 10 min straight is not exactly a picnic), but I will miss my cast more than I can say.
A break is definitely in order and I am looking forward to the prospect of crashing on the couch after coming home from work. I'll get back into audition mode soon enough, but in the meantime, plan to work on a few monologues, perhaps take a class or two, and get myself into better shape both physically and mentally.
I am so grateful for the amount of work I've gotten since my return to the cities, but it and a full time job have taken their toll on my enegy level. I'm looking forward to a recharge.
Neverfear - I'll update when I line something else up. In the meantime, happy holidays, and go see David in Cromulent Shakespeare Company's Titus Andronicus this January.
